Legacy’s core offering. This tier is for clients who have a specific topic or story in mind and are primarily interested in preserving it in a beautifully filmed oral history, what we call the “Legacy Interview.” This format is widely used by museums and and institutions such as the Library of Congress. Roughly two hours in length, this interview is lightly edited for clarity with a few key photographs added in. A transcript is included at no additional cost. Our single day shoot is also suitable for clients looking to capture a basic “Time Capsule.” Clients seeking to combine interviews and scenes or significant photographs and home movies should consider our Tier 2.

Our most popular option. The “Legacy Film” includes everything in Tier 1 and but adds additional days of filming mixing both interviews and scenes, significantly more family photographs and home movies, as well as historical footage and imagery appropriate for the topics discussed. Combined with significantly more edit time, the end result is a cinema-worthy documentary film which tells an inspirational and powerful story of an individual or family. The length of this film is designed for screening at family reunions or for one of our “theater premiere” packages.

Our highest tier is for those clients who have a story they would like to take to a wider audience like film festivals or for sale on platforms like Amazon or AppleTV. This tier includes everything in the lower tiers and takes it to a fully professional level with a larger crew and more complex production at every stage. For those clients who seek an “Executive Producer” credit of their own, this is the tier to consider.

Prices start at $25,000 but are highly variable depending on scope.
